Florida International Airshow · Punta Gorda · 6–8 Nov 2026
Your car.My plane.
A closed airport surface. Three timed runs. An aerobatic aircraft flown at you by an international airshow and air race pilot — and a safety instructor in the seat beside you the whole way.
01 / The proposition
Most people watch
the airshow.
You are in it.
You bring the car you actually drive. We close a runway, put a professional safety instructor in your passenger seat, and line you up.
Aarron is already airborne when you go. He brings the aircraft down onto the deck and flies alongside you, matching whatever your car will do — wing to window, for as long as you can hold it. Then, at the end of the run, he shows you what the aircraft can actually do. Some people get let off the hook. Some do not.
You get three runs, each one filmed from the air and the ground.
Which aircraft you race depends on the day. It will be one of the unlimited aerobatic aeroplanes in the fleet — the Extra 330SC, the Zivko Edge 540 V3 or the two-seat Extra 330LX — whichever is on the show line that weekend. All three will beat you off the top end and none of them can be out-cornered.
Nobody has done this to your car before. That is the point.
Do not have a car worth flying against? Precision Exotics will hand you the keys to one of theirs on the day. Pick from the fleet when you arrive.
Wheels up, wheels down
02 / The aircraft
The aircraft is
the constant.
What are you bringing?
Pick something near your car, or put your own numbers in. The right-hand column does not move, whatever you turn up in.
Pick whichever of the three you like — on the day it could be any of them. The spec table below defaults to the one currently expected at this event.
Car figures are the manufacturers' own claims, for comparison only — nothing here is a timing prediction, and the runway is not a drag strip. Aircraft top speed is level flight; Vne is a never-exceed number reached in a dive, quoted separately because a single "top speed" row would be comparing unlike things. Renting one of ours? You pick from the fleet on the morning, so treat these as the neighbourhood rather than the exact car.
03 / How the day runs
Turn up. We handle
everything else.
You are not filling in forms on the day or standing about wondering where to be. Here is the shape of it.
Arrive & scrutineering
Arrive and park up. A straightforward look over the car — tyres, fluids, battery, nothing loose in the cabin. Ten minutes, not an inspection ordeal.
Driver briefing
With the driving instructors. The line, the rules, the abort calls, and exactly what the aircraft will do around you. Everyone in the same room, including the instructors.
Morning grid — sighting run
Get in the cars and get ready. One pass at half pace with your instructor to learn the surface and the marks.
Runs one, two and three
Timed, filmed (if requested) and called over the radio.
The airshow
Between runs you are hanging out with the other drivers and instructors, chilling and enjoying an epic airshow.
Afternoon grid
Next line up of racers get ready.

Fly it yourself
If you booked the Extra, this is your slot — an insane aerobatic ride of a lifetime where you get to learn how to fly it yourself, with none other than Aarron, and your hands on the stick. Book The Double and you get to experience speed on the ground and in the air.
Indicative running order. Final times come with your gate pack about two weeks out and move with weather and the show schedule. Flying slots run either side of the grids — never during them.
04 / The grid
Twenty-four cars.
One hour. That is it.
A grid is twenty-four slots and runs for an hour. Two grids a day. We open them one at a time and in order — nothing goes on sale until the grid in front of it is full, so the field stays small and the running stays tight.
05 / The entry list
What a slot costs
Full payment secures it. The price is the price — nothing is sold to you on the day.
Two seats
06 / Ride of a lifetime
Then get in
and fly it
Thirty minutes, start to stop. This is not a ride-along where you sit still and hold on — it is a logged instructional flight with Aarron in the back, and you fly it. Insane flying. See if you can handle it.
Loops, rolls, a spin if you want one, and as much or as little G as you ask for. If you have never flown anything, that is the normal case here. If you already fly, you will leave knowing something you did not.
You get a logbook entry signed by Aarron Deliu. Not many people have that page.
The bit the car cannot do
07 / The paddock
Who else is
on the grid
Everybody here bought their way in for the same reason, and they all brought something worth looking at. Between runs you are stood on a closed airfield with two dozen people who own the sort of cars you own, and an aircraft parked in the middle of it.
We keep the field deliberately small. It is a better day, and it is a far better room.
Bring people. Your guests come airside with you — the flight line, the hospitality tent and the aircraft, not the public fence. No charge for them; just tell us numbers when you book so passes and waivers are ready at the gate.
08 / The team
Who is in
the team
Precision Exotics runs the ground side — the rental fleet, the safety instructor who sits beside you, scrutineering and the grid.
Every car on a timed run has one of their instructors in it. Not optional and not negotiable — it is why the event is insurable, and why you can drive properly instead of tentatively.
Renting, you pick from their fleet on the morning. Bringing your own, they tell you in advance exactly what it needs to pass.
Aarron Deliu, the reigning Sky Grand Prix champion, Air Masters Cup champion and Air Dance Battle Japan champion. Former Australian Unlimited & Freestyle champion, International Danube Cup winner, and a Red Bull Air Race rookie. In 2022 he posted the highest-ever placement by an Australian at the World Aerobatic Championships.
Currently one of the best and fastest pilots in the world. You think you can take him on?

The short version
of the rules
The full terms are on the terms page and in the waiver you sign after booking. Nothing here will surprise you.
10 / Merch
Add it to
your booking
Ordered with your slot and collected at the paddock on the day — no shipping, no waiting, no returns to post back.
Tee sizes S–XXL: tell us which in the notes box when you book. The full range — including everything from the airshow side — is at the store.
11 / Watching, and staying
The airshow is
a separate ticket
Worth being straight about: your grid slot puts you and your guests airside for the racing. General admission, grandstands and the VIP chalets are the airshow's to sell, not ours — and they are worth buying.
Airshow tickets & chalets
Grandstand seats, chalets and premium hospitality for the show itself go through the airshow directly. If you want your people watching the display in the shade with a drink while you are out on the grid, that is the ticket to buy, and it sells out.
Buy it early and buy it separately — we do not resell it and we do not mark it up.
Where to stay
A short list rather than a long one. Punta Gorda is small and show weekend fills it — book before you book flights.
Drive times are indicative and do not allow for show-weekend road closures. We do not take a commission on any of these.
12 / Straight answers
Before you ask
13 / The next one
Grid full?
Get in line.
When every grid at an event has gone, the only way in is this list — and it is also how we decide which city to run next.
Tell us what you drive and where you are. When a slot comes back up, or we confirm a date near you, the people on this list hear before the page does.

Twenty-four slots.
One weekend.
When they are gone the next chance is another city and another date.
